2 min read

As many documents are now going digital and you don’t need to carry your bunch of documents in your wallet (aadhar id, voter id, etc.)
Here we think about electronics copy of such documents
So here we are with the solution on how you can download the electronics version of the Aadhar Card
First of all open any web browser (Chrome, Safari, etc.) and type https://eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in, you will be redirected to the official website of Aadhar Card which is operated and managed by the Unique Identification Authority Of India.
You can see a heading named Download Electronic Copy Of Aadhar with three Sub Sections named

1.     Aadhar Number
2.     Enrolment ID (EID)
3.     Virtual ID (VID)

·        If you know your aadhar card number then  just select the Aadhar section and type your 12 Digits Aadhar Number if you don't want to use your aadhar number then jump to the other two sections (EID, VID)
·        After that, you will see a check box   I want a mask Aadhar, It means if you want whether you wish to hide or show Aadhar number e-aadhar (If you tick the chekcbox then the e-aadhar number will be hidden with XXXX XXXX 4 digit)

·        Now jump to the next section, where you will have to enter the Captcha (showing in the box on the right side)
·        Then click on the  below option

SEND OTP

·        You will receive a Six-digit OTP (One Time Password) on your registered Mobile Number
·        Then enter the six-digits OTP in the OTP Section, hit the enter button

·        Your e-aadhar will start downloading in few seconds and after it is downloaded just open it
·        This aadhar file will be in an encrypted PDF format and It will ask for a password you just have to enter the First four letters of your name in Capital letters with your Date of Birth in YYYY format

For example :  Your name is Abdul Nafees and Your Date Of Brith is 01/01/1998
Then your password to open encrypted PDF file: ABDU1998
